6.2 acres (2,5ha) near Santa Teresa
+++ just a few minutes to white sand beaches +++ ocean view from elevated parts +++ beautiful landscape next to Rio Bongo +++ perfect retreat space among majestic palms
The land consists of 6,2 acres (2,5ha) pristine coastal terrain that both borders on the Ruta del Sol (main coastal road that hugs the Pacific Coast of the Nicoya Peninsula) and Rio Bongo which is a river estuary that leads out to sea. One can simply hop on boat and get to beach in less time than in a car.
The property itself has a flat part where a well has been dug and perforated. As the land borders on a fresh water river there is an abundance of fresh water on the land and it also of course keeps the property cool. The land is also enclosed by a fence made from the stumps of local trees. There is an electric tower on the road right by access road to the property. The neighbouring property has been designated as a nature reserve. The terrain is somewhat cleared and is dotted with majestic palms, fruit trees, and majestic old Pochote tree.
There is one larger elevated part of the land which has a plateau so one could naturally build a house and/ or a few casitas. If you build on the most elevated part of the land you can have an ocean view. The other neighbouring properties are owned by local ranchers and it is not uncommon to see cows and horses that grazing nearby. The white sand beach is about 7 minute drive from the property or closer by boat. The beach is wild and unpopulated, there no structures on the beach at all.
It is a big enough piece of land that you could do several things with it, a retreat space would be ideal because it is so peaceful and calm there. Aside from the larger elevated plateau there are several mini plateaus as you descend towards the river where you could build little cabinas or yoga platforms.
